This Frozen Protein S’mores recipe is a delicious and healthier twist on the classic campfire treat. Combining graham crackers, a protein-enriched whipped topping, and a smooth chocolate layer, then frozen for a refreshing dessert or snack that’s both satisfying and protein-packed.

Ingredients

Scale

Base

  • 6 graham crackers

Protein Whipped Layer

  • 16 oz coconut cool whip (or regular cool whip)
  • 1 scoop protein powder

Chocolate Topping

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Container: Line a medium-sized glass food container with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make removal easier once frozen.
  2. Add Graham Crackers Base: Place 3 full graham crackers along the bottom of the lined container, forming the foundation layer.
  3. Mix Protein Whipped Topping: In a bowl, combine 16 oz of cool whip with 1 scoop of protein powder. Stir thoroughly until the mixture thickens, creating a creamy, protein-enriched whipped topping.
  4. Spread Protein Whip: Scoop the protein whip mixture evenly on top of the graham cracker base, smoothing it out to form an even layer.
  5. Melt Chocolate Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/3 cup chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave in 15-second increments, stirring each time, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
  6. Add Chocolate Layer: Pour the melted chocolate mixture evenly over the whipped protein layer.
  7. Top with Graham Crackers: Place the remaining 3 full graham crackers on top of the chocolate layer, forming the final layer.
  8. Freeze: Place the container in the freezer for at least 1 hour, or until the dessert is firm enough to slice.
  9. Slice and Serve: Once frozen, carefully lift the layered s’mores out of the container using the parchment paper. Place on a cutting board and slice into 6 pieces along the seams of the graham crackers. Enjoy your protein-packed frozen s’mores!

  • Choose your favorite flavor of protein powder to customize the taste.
  • Microwave chocolate mixture in short bursts to avoid burning.
  • Ensure the container is well lined for easy removal after freezing.
  • Store leftover pieces in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
